This instrument was acquired during summer 2011 as a trade in for our Niton Xlt instrument.
This Bruker instrument currently contains an obsidian calibration based on MURR obsidian samples Box 1 and Box 2.

Our instrument has an oxygen pump to detect lighter elements. It arrived with an obsidian calibration to MURR reference obsidians (Box 1 and 2).
Mitutoyo digital 150 mm calipers with USB data input tool for direct input into a spreadsheet or database program.
No drivers required with Windows XP.
Despite having a USB connection the device doesn't work with Apple Mac. It repeatedly sends the same measurement again and again.
Connected to the iMac in the ARF computer lab. Transparency scanner parts are hidden under the lid.

This corer was donated by Condor Earth Technologies (Sonora, CA) in Sept 2013. This is a model from the early 1990s and they purchased extra casings.
