The Archaeological Research Facility formerly hosted a collection of manuscripts on file that resulted from projects carried out between 1948 and 1971 by the University of California Archaeological Survey (later the ARF) organized and directed by Professor Robert Heizer. Some decades ago this collection was transferred to the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology. These manuscripts contain site report information and therefore they are not available online for public viewing but are available at the discretion of the museum for consultation by professional archaeologists. A catalog PDF of available manuscripts can be viewed at the Museum's website but not the manuscripts themselves.
