DJI Mavic 3m RTK is an enterprise DJI UAS (unmanned aerial system) with a multispectral (red edge) sensor as well as a global shutter 20 Mp camera for photogrammetry and other high quality imaging applications. The RTK module can receive corrections from the ARF's D-Base-2 base station (stored with our P4RTK), or from another GNSS such as the Emlid Reach RS2.
As an educational institution we are flying under the following FAA regulation:
AC 91-57C - Exception for Limited Recreational Operations of Unmanned Aircraft (2022)
The DJI M3e is typically piloted using the DJI Fly app. As with other DJI apps the software is not available from the Play Store rather the APKs are downloaded directly from DJI at this website

A third-party user has extracted the APK installers for DJI Pilot 2 and is hosting them at this directory
UAS flights at all UC campuses require prior approval and post-flight reporting. The new UC Drone Web App (go to UC Drone Web App, sign in and select the Drone symbol) provides a unified portal for managing flight requests and reporting for UC students, staff and faculty. This new app will help streamline the process while ensuring the highest level of safety and regulatory compliance. Requires a UC login. A User Guide is available to walk users through the new tool.
