The ARF hosts the Practical Workshops series, which features trainings on ARF equipment as well as workshops demonstrating methods or techniques of general interest.

In recent years, ARF has focused on supporting QGIS and other free and open source software as they typically work on Mac and Linux in addition to Windows, allowing everyone access to these workshops regardless of platform and licenses. In this way, our efforts are going to supporting open software. There are many professionally developed tutorials for ESRI and other commercial products already available online.
