Michael Nylan

Michael Nylan

Michael Nylan received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley, her M.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and her Ph.D from Princeton University.  Her research interests include early China, the seven centuries of warring states through eastern Han (475 BC-AD 220), with an emphasis on the sociopolitical context; aesthetic theories and material culture; and belief.
