Geophysical surveys are often conducted in a local coordinate system and later needs to be integrated into a project GIS for alignment and comparison with other spatial features. This tutorial demonstrates how to georeference a GPR slice map using the corner coordinates and clip the result to display only the data itself.
This slice map does not match the existing grid so I demonstrate how to use QGIS Advanced Digitizing pane "Construction Mode" to create point features that are offset from 10m grid auto-generated in another tutorial
An introductory tutorial about creating archaeological site grids in QGIS is available here
https://youtu.be/8U_sAknr6UE and this georeferencing tutorial begins after the site grid has been created.
