Prof. Edward M. Luby is director of the Museum Studies Program and professor of Museum Studies. Previously, Professor Luby served as Director and Chief Curator of the Global Museum from 2014 to 2018, where he worked to manage the museum through its “start-up” phase, including the creation of temporary storage spaces and the movement of virtually all the Museum’s collections; the development of the Museum’s new gallery, preservation facility, classroom, and Student Study Center; and oversight for the Museum’s inaugural exhibit, which opened April 2018.
